So cold! brrr!
Last week when the weather was acting all kinds of nuts, well, it shook itself off and now we're stuck with temps in the single digits. brrr!
One of those cold days that made me glad I wasn't at Fort Drum in upstate New York with the 10th Mountain Division. When I walked outside this morning, I made sure to breath though my nose - breathing though my mouth made my lungs hurt the air was that cold and dry.
Walking from the car to the mall entrance, I could feel my lips freezing. One time at Fort Drum I walked about half a mile from my barracks at reception to the chow hall. With only my BDU hat with the flaps over my ears. I figured that would keep them warm enough. Wrong! My ears hurt so much that I thought I frost bite. brrr!
