Kids. Arggh

They should be in school year round. And the moment a kid starts screaming, crying, or just making a ruckus in general while in public, their parent(s) should attempt to quite them. If they can't quite them, then the parents should take the kid(s) home.

So if you're eating lunch with the kids in a restaurant and your kid:
  • starts banging their glass or fork or fist against the table or the common back of the chair (like those booths that adjacent chairs share a back)
  • stands up in their seat, turns around and stares at me and my dinner companion
  • starts to scream, or yell or make a fuss in general
does any of the above, and you can't control your kid, then you prolly really shouldn't be having kids in the first place. or at least you shouldn't be leaving the house and going into public with the kids. yes, that is the price you have to pay for having a kid.

I have a very low tolerance for kids with no manners. And don't tell me they're just being kids. There is a place and a time for just being kids, in a public restaurant is not one of those places, a playground is one of those places.
